Each month, ACT offers nominations, and the candidates with the highest rank in the matrix are eligible to apply for an ACT nomination. The Canberra draw has welcomed 187 people to relocate to Australia. Candidates must achieve the highest possible score in order to be considered for invitations.

- A cut-off score is determined using the following criteria:
- Monthly financial planning
- Submission of matrix date and time
- Candidates are in high demand.
- Occupation limitation
There is no certainty that persons who achieve the minimum score will be invited to participate in the ACT nomination process. Candidates who have a current ACT application will not be invited. Invitations will not be given to candidates who have already received an ACT nomination.
