August 23 Express Entry Draw Has CRS Cut-Off Threshold of 434

A total of 3,035 candidates for immigration to Canada have been issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence in the latest draw from the Express Entry pool, which took place on August 23. Candidates with 434 or more Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points at the time of the draw were invited to apply. Canada the Second-Best Country in the World to be an Immigrant, U.S. Study Finds

Australia comes out with a new occupation list for visa applicants

  One of the biggest visa related news in the past week or so has been the abolition of 457 visa by Australia and announcing that it would be replaced by a new TSS (Temporary Skill Shortage) visa which would come into being in 2018 March.
