Australia, in addition to being one of the wealthiest countries in the world, is also noted for its ever-increasing job prospects. The variety of immigration schemes has made it relatively easy for students and skilled employees to immigrate to Australia. No matter the program you choose to immigrate under, you must complete a standard questionnaire using an immigration point calculator.

It is simple to get good results on the calculator if you fulfill all of the basic requirements for your age, education, language abilities, occupation, and past job experience (if any).

Your job must be mentioned under SOL: The Skilled Occupation list is the categorization under which all of Australia’s approved jobs are categorized. If you have a decent work experience in a certain profession but it does not correspond to the SOL criteria, you will not be qualified to apply for permanent residency under the skilled category. On the contrary, if it is stated in the SOL, your job experience will be nothing short of a cherry on top.

You will receive 20 or 15 points depending on whether you have a Ph.D. or a bachelor’s degree. Similarly, the more years of job experience you have, the more points you will receive on the calculator.

Make sure you don’t leave it too late: If you are under the age of 18 or above the age of 50, applying for a skilled migration visa to Australia may be difficult.

If you are between the ages of:

You will receive 25 points if you are between the ages of 18 and 24.
You will receive the greatest score, 30 points, if you are between the ages of 25 and 32.
You will receive 25 points if you are between the ages of 33 and 39.
You will be able to score 15 points if you are between the ages of 40 and 44.
You will be eligible but will not receive any points if you are 45-49 years old.
You must be fluent in the English language: A solid result on any recognized English language assessment exam (e.g., IELTS) is required for you to be considered for the post.

To apply for trade vocations, one must achieve at least 5 in all four levels of the IELTS exam, but a score of 6 is required for all other occupations.

Extra points make your procedure go more smoothly: The calculator provides you with extra points. Your partner’s talents relate to the requirements for the skilled migration program visa or an Australian degree or diploma certification in any regional course if you have skill assessment scores from any authorized and recognized agency.
