Canada has invited 2,750 Express Entry candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residence in a draw that took place January 10, 2018. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will reopen its popular Parents and Grandparents Program on Jan. 2, 2018. IRCC said the Interest to Sponsor online form will be available starting at 12 p.m. EST that day. Labour shortage pushes Canadian job vacancies

Job vacancies in Canada’s private sector rose to a record high in the third quarter of 2017, says a new report by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. IRCC extends Open Work Permit for sponsored spouses

The Government of Canada has once again extended the Open Work Permit Pilot for sponsored spouses and common-law partners who are applying for permanent residence. Canada-Ontario Immigration Agreement to recruit skilled immigrants

The governments of Canada and Ontario have announced a new agreement designed to enhance their efforts to recruit skilled immigrants and get them the training they need to meet the province’s occupational requirements in their professions.
