Over the past few years, the interest of Indian students in Canadian higher education institutions has been on a continuous rise. In order to get a Canadian study visa, the applicant must be enrolled in any degree, certificate or diploma program in the country which is offered by an institution listed under the DLI (Designated Learning Institutions) list of the CIC. The study visa applications can be filed by the applicants under 3 different categories – SPP, General and University.

The applicant, in order to apply for the study visa, must have the following documents –

• An acceptance letter from a Canadian institution
• Your identity proof
• Documents highlighting your financial standing and background
• A letter of explanation
• A medical report as per the procedure prescribed by the authorities
• Police verification report certifying that the applicant doesn’t have any legal liability
