Manitoba welcomed 315 immigrants for a provincial nomination in the EOI #145 draw on May 5, 2022. These individuals are eligible to apply through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). As a result, their ultimate application for Canadian permanent residence will be strengthened.
Of the 315 Letters of Advice to Apply given, 48 were to candidates with a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code.

What exactly are the Manitoba Immigration Programs?
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program administers Manitoba’s immigration programs as well as immigration applications to the Canadian Federal Government. The provinces of Canada do not have the jurisdiction to grant permanent residency, although they can assist candidates through provincial nominations.
If the candidate wishes to be considered for a nomination through Manitoba, they must first submit an Expression of Interest to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. This permits you to apply for a LAA through either the Skilled Workers in Manitoba or Skilled Workers Overseas streams.
Manitoba gives each candidate a score out of 1,000 points based on their human capital and how they are connected to the province.
The two streams in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas Category and Skilled Workers in Manitoba, are aimed to discover applicants who fit the province’s labour market requirements.

Applicants from abroad must demonstrate their ties to the province of Manitoba by
- the value of close familial ties
- previous provincial experience
- through one of Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives
The applicant is not need to be in Manitoba at the time of application.
To be invited to participate in one of Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives, an applicant must have a full-time employment opening with a provincial company. International graduates who have finished their study in Manitoba are eligible for an invitation under the International Education Stream if they can demonstrate marketable capabilities.
