Finland is a good place to work if you want to work in another country. According to a report published by CEDEFOP, the European Center for the Development of Vocational Training, the sectors of computer programming and information services, as well as the mining sector, will see the most job development in Finland until 2030.
According to the survey, business and administrative associate professionals, personal care workers, legal, social, cultural, and related associate professionals will have the most job opportunities, both new and replacements.
Jobs in demand | Forecast |
Business and administration associate professionals | 162700 |
Personal care workers | 127400 |
Legal, social, cultural and related associate professionals. | 124140 |
The CEDEFOP forecast runs from now until 2030. It took into account the global economic situation up until May 2019. In 2019, the European economy grew for the seventh year in a row, and every European country, including Finland, had a significant gain in GDP. The Coronavirus epidemic and the resulting lockdowns had a short-term economic impact. Still, long-term variables such as an aging population, more use of automation/artificial intelligence, globalization, resource scarcity, and so on will have an impact on the job picture in European countries.
